Lisa, aka Saucy Wench is at it again with this flavoursome vegan cooking class.  An incredible all round human, cook and Founder and cook at Brisbane’s most delicious dumpling and Asian sauce business – The Saucy Wench.

At this class you can expect to learn how to make Authentic Mexican dishes Sarina grew In this class Lisa will so generously share with us all her family secrets and create the incredible National Malaysian Dish NASI LEMAK you can replicate at home.  This is Lisa’s vegan version of the Malaysian national dish, Nasi Lemak. Fragrant coconut rice, spicy asparagus and onion sambal, roasted peanuts, and fresh cucumbers come together to create a flavor explosion. Plus a few other dishes such as Mushroom Rendang and Crispy enoki with curry leaf.up eating and learned to make from her ancestors. These are not your typical dishes you find at Westernised Mexican restaurants, these are the real deal! In fact, some of these recipes you may have never heard of before.

Using 100% plant-based products, including all sauces you will be blown away with the flavour and ease of these traditional recipes, from Lisa’s heart to yours.

*WARNING* this class is quite spicy!!

THE MENU:

  • King Oyster Mushroom Rendang
  • Coconut rice
  • Acar pickled vegetables
  • Fried peanuts
  • Spicy crispy enoki with curry leaf
  • Onion and Asparagus Sambal

The class is 100% plant-based and gluten-free. As a vegan establishment the use of nuts in our premises is high.  Please note that our meals may contain traces of nuts.

Please note tickets are not refundable, however if unable to attend you can transfer the tickets to a friend (a re-booking fee applies).

Whilst very rare, if we do not meet minimum ticket sales for our classes, they will be rescheduled, or an option for a refund will be provided.

Lisa (aka Saucy Wench) is the Founder of Brisbane’s incredible Saucy Wench range of Asian sauces and dumplings.  Hand made in Brisbane her food is of the highest quality. A passionate foodie, Lisa has always been surrounded by incredible food and her passion is to provide the highest quality food using Australian ingredients and to pass on her knowledge of her food heritage.  She is truly a vibrant human and her love for food and life is infectious!  More about Lisa and Saucy Wench HERE!
